About the Role:
\nThe Program Management Office (PMO) ensures the successful execution of key cross functional initiatives of the company through effective program management. PMO Program Managers drive cross functional initiatives that are top priority for PitchBook. The Program Management Office also helps scale execution at PitchBook by establishing guidelines and best practices for program management in the company through a Center of Excellence model; establishing a program management community within Pitchbook that allows program managers across the company to collaborate, learn, and share execution best practices; providing visibility into overall performance of strategic initiatives; and orchestrating strategic planning processes of the company.
\nPitchBook’s Sr. Program Manager, Enterprise Programs drives strategic cross functional initiatives for the company. This role ensures that cross functional teams are driving towards defined program milestones and deliverables, removing bottlenecks, escalating risks/issues as needed, providing visibility to progress and overall ensuring effective collaboration across teams. The PitchBook strategic planning process typically defines the various initiatives that this role will lead. In the near term, this role is likely to lead programs that involve working cross functionally within PitchBook and Morningstar to develop new capabilities as well as critical internal projects that support Sales, Customer Service, and Revenue Operations.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
\n\nBe the Program Manager of key initiatives in the PMO’s portfolio, responsible for leading the discovery, planning, scoping, and implementation of these initiatives\nWork closely with key stakeholders, program and project sponsors, and cross-functional teams to plan, scope, and identify deliverables and required resources and timing for new initiatives\nBuild a robust and achievable project plan; drive forecasting/estimation techniques to arrive at this plan; hold the team accountable to meeting key committed deliverables\nDefine clear goals, prioritize the right work, and use data to drive crisp decisions in partnership with stakeholders\nEnsure that requirements are established for the initiative\nProactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and conflicts affecting goal achievement, escalating when needed for resolution\nManage cross-team dependencies, align roadmaps, and unblock teams. Support planning activities that identify dependencies\nKeep the team, sponsor, and relevant stakeholders informed on progress to goal\nProvide accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle using tools recommended by the PMO to organize, track, and manage programs\nImplement structure, order, and clarity to ambiguous problems with little direction or oversight\nImplement and adapt established program execution best practices recommended by the PMO\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors\nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested\n\n\n
Skills and Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor’s degree\n7+ years of professional work experience with 3+ years of project or program management\nExperience program managing cross-functional programs for an organization with a strong understanding of program management fundamentals\nProgram management experience leading cross functional implementations related to financial products & revenue operations from start to finish\nOperate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results\nBe data and metrics driven and use metrics and provide data for decision making\nAble to effectively manage ambiguity and competing priorities and help teams prioritize and focus\nSelf-motivated and goal-oriented attitude and can work effectively as an individual or as part of a team\nExemplary verbal and written communication skills and comfortable to engage a diverse array of audiences\nAble to work across multiple teams and stakeholders at all levels of seniority, build strong trusted relationships, and lead through influence\nAble to problem solve and use judgment to make decisions within ambiguous situations\nHands on knowledge of a project management tool preferred\nAble to effectively communicate with local and international teams in a multicultural setting both in-person, in writing, and via Zoom video calls\n\n\n

Compensation
\n\nAnnual base salary: $155,000-$165,000\nTarget annual bonus percentage: 10%\n\n\n
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.

Working Conditions:
\nWe believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 4+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
\nThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
