The Production Supervisor is responsible for fostering a performance-driven and continuous-improvement environment for production operations and has accountability for the safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance of the group under responsibility.

 

Night shift #4 (Wed-Sat)

Responsibilities Supervises manufacturing activities in a high-Speed automated assembly environment. Manages all productivity and quality-related issues within the manufacturing teamHires, develops, and trains direct labor personnel Monitors production, technical and support personnelEnsures that safety regulations, regulatory controls, policies, and procedures are followedInitiates and documents Safety Corrective Actions and ensures on-time completionInitiates and oversees quality and process improvementsLeads and carries safety and quality process auditingMonitors and reports on shift-related key performance indicators (KPI’s), including scrap monitoring.Undertakes special projects as requiredPromotes and uses techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma and Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing)Position requires an individual who is enthusiastic, hardworking and has a “can-do” attitude.Requires an individual with flexibility to work and rotate between day shift and night shift based on business needs in a 24/7 operation. Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BS or BA degree in business or technical disciplineMinimum of 5 years of supervision experience in a high-speed manufacturing environmentStrong Lean manufacturing and six sigma toolset a must.Ability to lead improvements in quality, productivity, cost and material usageExcellent leadership skills – high integrity, results driven, interpersonal skills, ability to champion change and strong manufacturing competenciesBilingual – English and SpanishHistory of increasing responsibilities with proven track record of achieving good results

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Post graduate education with MBA degree.Prior Plant Management and budget responsibility.Six Sigma CertificationExperience in injection molding
