Senior Product Regulations Specialist –Charlotte, NC (hybrid)
This role serves as a lead resource to maintain product master data in the BASIS system, determination of hazard classifications, validation of substance registrations, manage compliance documents, and generate SDS and labels for a portfolio of products. This dynamic position operates in a cross-functional environment. Consultation with technical and commercial colleagues on new product developments and advise on the impact of changes to recipes, raw materials, and regulations. The role must monitor the blocked order queue, quickly evaluate reasons for blocks, problem solve and provide guidance on how to release the block while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Education
Undergraduate degree in Chemistry, public health, chemical engineering, Toxicology or other technical discipline.
Experience
5+ years of industry manufacturing industry experience.2+ years safety data sheet authoring.4+ years working within SAP EHS or BASF specific regulatory document systems.
Knowledge/Skills
Strong knowledge of OSHA and WHMIS hazard communication standards.Strong understanding of GHS hazard classification and generation of SDSs and labels.Ability to work independently and train employees on regulatory requirements.
