Sr. Product Manager, Healthcare Technology  

Description

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for functions pertaining to work RelayHealth Corporation, a McKesson entity, performs in support of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  More specifically, the Sr. Product Manager will support the Medicare Part D Transaction Facilitator (PDTransFac) product.

RelayHealth's Government Team has an opening for a Sr. Product Manager

The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle and P&L for PDTransFac, the Medicare Part D Transaction Facilitator system. The lifecycle includes ideation, business requirements, concept testing, pricing, development, customer presentations, and contracting.  The role also entails managing the CMS customer relationship and working closely in all aspects with the teams supporting the product.

The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for the success of the product, retention of the customer, and ensuring our solutions meet customer needs.  The Sr. Product Manager oversees the operations of the CMS contract and interacts closely with internal teams, including Contract Administration, Government Contract Management, Product Development and other team members assigned to the customer. The Sr. Product Manager works closely with government contacts to understand unique and complex business problems to determine how to best solve issues in accordance with relevant requirements.  The Sr. Product Manager acts as a subject matter expert and develops plans with Project Management for coordination with product development and other internal teams for successful implementation of new offerings or to enhance existing products.
 

Position Description

Owns product vision and roadmap for Part D Transaction Facilitator productMonitors business, P & L, & growth forecastsWorks with technology teams to support system auditing, authority to operate (ATO) and other security related activities.Involved in oversight of purchasing, billing and inventory supportOversight of custom development requests Drives successful delivery of enhancementsWorks with project manager on project activities, issues resolution, etc.Manages and runs ongoing and ad hoc meetings with customerCollaborates with the National Council of Prescription Drug Program (NCPDP) regarding solutions related to PDTransFac, participating in NCPDP task groupsWorks with the pharmacy industry by responding to questions and developing solutions related to PDTransFac Oversight of MedifacD websiteCoordinates funding request activities and budgeting for each contract option year

·        Coordinates procurement efforts when contract comes up for renewal

 

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of experience in product management or equivalent experience preferably in healthcare technology.

 

Critical Skills

Experience with Medicare Part D plans & CMS regulatory requirementExperience working on government contractsExperience with National Council of Prescription Drug Program (NCPDP) and pharmacy standards such as Financial Information Reporting (FIR) and Informational Reporting (Nx) transaction sets.Healthcare industry experience

Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$114,700 - $191,100
