Sr. Procurement Specialist
**Position Summary** As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing purchasing of goods and services for the company, ensuring adherence to established timelines, quality, and cost targets. In this pivotal role, you will ensure procurement activities are aligned with established timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives. Acting as the primary liaison between the LATAM region and senior procurement leadership, you will spearhead strategic initiatives, address operational challenges, and foster seamless collaboration across teams. This role requires a person with excellent agility in using procurement systems, ERP, and digital tools to efficiently manage order processing, result driven, excellent communication/relations with suppliers, and internal coordination with other departments. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Proactively maintain schedules for all open in-bound shipments and establish group vigilance practices on open orders. + Create, review, and track purchase orders in the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely information. + Efficiently use the company's procurement systems and ERPs to manage the entire procurement cycle, from request for quotations to the receipt of goods. + Develop deep knowledge of key market trends by researching market drivers, analyzing cost structures, understanding technical improvements in industry, and evaluating the competitive landscape. + Leverage Direct spend opportunities across BU’s and regions. + Oversee cost saving projects and opportunities. + Effectively collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure business and technical requirements are captured and facilitate cross functional evaluation of new suppliers. + Prepare and deliver executive level business updates on strategic sourcing plans that highlight progress toward business objectives and changes in market dynamics. + Support requests from partner Finance departments. + Support Manager in reporting KPIs and following up on improvements implementation. + Work closely with Site teams to manage supplier related disruptions to timely receipt of goods and services. **Education & Experience:** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or related fields. **Experience:** 5 or more years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or similar roles required. **Knowledge, Skills, & Talents** + Proficiency in technology tools, such as ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, D365, Epicor, IVALUA, etc.), Microsoft Excel, and e-procurement platforms. + Experience in order processing. + Ability to analyze procurement data, identify areas for improvement, and propose efficient solutions. + Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with different areas of the company. + Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + English (C1 minimum) **Equal Employment Opportunity** Vantage is an equal opportunity employer.
