The Advanced Tactical EOIR Pod area is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience with embedded computing systems to work on our pod Integration and Test team.
 

What You Will Do 

Configure and integrate ruggedized VPX based embedded processor units within our tactical network.Integrate rack-mounted high performance processing systems with our software development environment.Benchmark testing of processor units.General troubleshooting at the hardware/software interface for tactical units.  
 

Qualifications You Must Have

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.Ability to function as member of agile teamHands-on experience with integration and test of high-performance computing systemsExperience with Linux Operating systems.Experience writing test scripts for system benchmarking.Experience with MATLAB coding for data analysisThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Qualifications We Prefer

Ability to configure network switches for LANS and VLANSSoftware development experience in C++Work experience as Systems EngineerMaster’s degree in engineering. Existing DOD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Special Access clearance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.Part time 24-30 hours per week.Flexible schedule, 3 days/week initially

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $65.87 to $122.74.  The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
