The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking a Sr. Principal System Architect PCM Team Lead to join our team and develop these technologies into high-performance computing systems. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.
Responsibilities:
Define PCM test execution system architecture and how it connects to the other domains in the MDA (design, fab, etc.)Define process gaps in PCM test execution data flow and work with systems engineering org to develop SOPs to cover gapsOnce architecture is defined, find areas to change PCM test execution process based on found choke points or blockersMaintain system architecture as PCM test execution capabilities increase and changeCoordinate with support groups to ensure cross domain processes are alignedWork with program leadership to ensure requirement traceability is present where necessaryDefine key operational metrics (throughput, program, functional, etc.)Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required.This position requires full time work onsite at our Linthicum, MD OR Annapolis Junction, MD location.
Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal System Architect PCM Team Lead:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience.Experience with modern automated factory systems in a semiconductor or microelectronics fab.Able to drive execution of Statement of Work (SOW) components with vendors and work cross organization.Experience with manufacturing KPIs, cost estimates, work breakdown structures, and continuous improvement experience. Experience in briefing technical content to executives, customers, and key stakeholders.Strong understanding of software programming, concepts of Software Engineering or Systems Engineering specifically software integration.Experience with supplier engagement and facilitation of supplier development and risk reduction activities.Willing to work in a Manufacturing environment (Example: Semiconductor Clean room) for intermittent periods to support Machine related software check out, System Integration Testing, etc.Experience with modern automated manufacturing execution systems such as 300works, SiView, Critical Manufacturing, Eyelit, or another semiconductor industry MES.This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen. This positions requires the ablility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly clearance per business requirements.Preferred Qualifications for Sr. Principal System Architect PCM Team Lead:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree or higher in materials science engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or systems engineering.Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance.Familiarity with Design of Experiment (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and 6 sigma concepts for process development.Experience in high volume automated manufacturing microelectronics or semiconductor fabs.Experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) input specifically as it relates to Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) requirements such as tooling, capital equipment and/or new process development.Able to explain in detail advanced process control systems such as fault detection, recipe management, statistical process control, automated data collection, etc,Understands the differences in data representation between products, plans, recipes, and varying levels of manufacturing containers (lots, wafers, die, etc.).Has worked with Applied Materials SmartFactory Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) solution.#MDASEIT
