TITLE: Sr. Pricing Analyst
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES: Drive strategies, processes, and systems used to develop, implement, and maintain standard pricing methods for organization.
Implement pricing processes and pricing decision across various aspects of Thermo Fisher Scientific in coordination with Commercial Product Management, Marketing, and General Management Leaders.
Use both quantitative and qualitative pricing approaches using data science and statistical techniques.
Review price improvement opportunities with division and regional partners as well as drive operational actions to achieve these pricing goals.
Provide analytical output while working with large data sets using SQL Server, Excel, or other quantitative methods.
Provide analytical and technical support for pricing initiatives that includes setting list prices, determining customer-specific pricing contracts, and develop models for pricing forecasting.
Travel: Up to 20% travel required domestic and international.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience as a Risk Analyst, Data Analyst, or related occupation. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience as a Risk Analyst, Data Analyst, or related occupation as an equivalent alternative.
Required knowledge or experience with:
SQL Server;
SQL database quires;
Excel;
Financial modeling;
Project Management;
Managing medium to large projects with teams of 4-8+ people;
Tableau;
Power BI;
R; and
Python.
Salary: $112,770.84 to $158,500 per year

Compensation and Benefits
The salary pay range estimated for this position Sr Pricing Analyst based inCalifornia is $112,770.84–$158,500.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
