Responsibilities Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and service agreements. Maintain and update contract records and databases. Assist with the development, implementation and enhancement of contract management processes and procedures, ensuring efficient tracking, execution, and organization of agreements. Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability. Outside Counsel Management: Manage relationships with outside counsel, including onboarding new firms, coordinating communication, and tracking engagements. Review and process invoices from outside counsel, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and budget. Assist with the preparation of accruals and budget forecasts. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the legal team Maintain legal files and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Conduct legal research and analysis as needed, and assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence. Support regulatory filings, and corporate governance matters. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or contracts manager ideally within a corporate legal department or law firm. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workplace Experience with contract management systems and legal research tools is a plus. Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: The range of pay for this role is $45.63-60.45 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location and other factors permitted by law.
