As an Sr. Operational Review Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing operational review and control testing that evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of Alliant Credit Union’s first line key controls. Work directly with the lines of business to manage the onboarding and execution of the operational reviews.

Responsibilities Analyze and articulate the results/issues/recommendations related to control testing activities and maintain a thorough understanding of Alliant Credit Union’s control inventory, internal controls management policy, control testing methodologies, and related regulatory and compliance standards.Suggest enhancements to testing modules, scripts, and other guides including a testing approach for evaluating the effectiveness of Alliant Credit Union first line Key Controls to mitigate key risk exposures related to regulatory requirements and Alliant Credit Union risk policies and standards.Review the documentation of control evaluation work papers, retention and remediation of the reviewer’s commentary.
Contribute to the articulation of results/conclusions/memos of control testing activities and communicate to key stakeholders across Alliant Credit Union.Assist with the validation and closure of control issues as identified through testing.Train internal employees and monitor results to ensure alignment of testing criteria and established procedures.Provide lines of business peers with guidance, and support in identifying root causes, analysis, and recommendations as it relates to operational review results. Act as designated lead tester/reviewer of other control testing engagements.

 

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent - MinimumBachelors Degree - Business, Business Risk, Project Management, or Related - Preferred

 

Experience:

2 Year - Controls testing, internal audit, quality control roles, or other complimentary capacities
