$120,000.00 /Yr. - $145,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axos Bank is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to join a lean team that supports our entire networking environment to manage both new capabilities and the day-to-day, 24x7 production support of the network (core, distribution, wired & wireless access layers, WAN, and network security) and will be heavy on Firewall.

This position will report on-site at our HQ in San Diego CA, Las Vegas NV, Centennial CO, Omaha NE, or Edison NJ location. Relocation assistance may be possible.

Responsibilities:

Manage both new capabilities and the day-to-day, 24x7 production support of the network (core, distribution, wired & wireless access layers, WAN, and network security)Ensure the policies, standards, and standard operating procedures for how-to documents are developed and utilizedResponsible for overall design, configuration, implementation and support of the local and wide area networks at AxosAssist in the design and development of network implementationsParticipate in disaster recovery planning, development, exercises and actual eventsEvaluate and test software changes and updates supplied by vendors, prior to installationWork with vendors, application developers, database administrators, corporate IT, and other technology groups to resolve any problemsConduct routine hardware and software audits of all supported systems to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and requirementsDocument network deployment and maintain up-to-date network diagramsTroubleshoot and manage calls/tickets from the technical services group and assist with network administrationHelp provide technical direction to the company in the LAN/WAN environment and provide project management or assistance for network-related initiativesProvide analysis of network configuration and related documentation. Monitor systems for network alerts and events so quick response can be provided and issues can be pro-actively addressedPlan, install, and setup physical and virtual servers to meet application, security, and regulatory requirementsDocument production systems for security, capacity, and usageMaintain existing servers and clients using available administration toolsMonitor servers and their usage and capacity to minimize problems and outagesMaintain the process involved in administration, maintenance, security, backup, and recoveryWork to expand security knowledge of banking and work-group software and to maintain current in network, mainframe, client server, and internet/intranet platformsReview Cloud technologies for Infrastructure solution alternativesEnsure that deliverables are produced within the planned budget and time-frameAnalysis, testing, documentation, implementation and support of global data technologiesParticipate in office relocations, expansions, and other infrastructure changes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of networking experience with Cisco L2/L3 equipment3+ years' managing Cisco network proficient with Routing / Switching protocols3+ years' experience with Palo Alto devices and Load balancers2+ years’ experience with SolarWinds OrionTechnical knowledge of AD and related services (DNS, DHCP, NPS, LDAP)Ability to work on assignments with minimal supervision

Preferred:

CCNP and/or CCNA
