Sr. NetDevOps Architect

A Client is looking for a Senior NetDevOps Architect to work on a 6-month contract to possible tension, to hire basis. This person will be responsible for providing strategic thought leadership to the company at large as well as, support individual large-scale projects to help drive advancement and transformation to their current networking environment, and help bring them to the new age of networking. We are looking for this person to help get them there through automation, integration, and helping to orchestrate with other teams, vendors, tools and technologies. S/he would be working on projects like, but not limited to; A data center redesign, unified communication as a service, store refreshes, redesign entire Azure, and many more exciting projects. This person must be a forward thinker who is a self-starter, collaborative, communicative, and accountable. This person would also be working on a new Network Architecture team with between 3-5 architects all driving to achieve these results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership to client Systems Infrastructure strategy to enable greater agility with the fulfillment of Infrastructure services.
Work with other teams to enable end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and the enablement of highly resilient Network Services for cross-functional teams.
Design maintainable solutions to meet business and compliance requirements through code development using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology to ensure consistency, maintainability, and compliance.
Identify and implement ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements.
Maintain Network Services development standards complying with enterprise standards, ensuring solutions are optimally designed, secure, well-performing, and integrated with other solutions.
Evaluate emerging technology for use across technical domains for delivering Infrastructure services.
Develop technology transformation roadmaps and action plans to continually evolve and improve the technology estate.
Subject Matter Expert in the discipline of Infrastructure automation and development.
Document internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), processes, and training to ensure team members are successful in a DevOps environment.
Provide technical leadership and coaching of team members in the DevOps transition journey.
