Sr. Mechanical Engineer

General Purpose:

Full-time position available for Sr. Mechanical Engineer to take on the ME development on Corsair Gaming products. In this position, a strong candidate will be the key technical contributor whose responsibilities will be to oversee and drive the development of our next generation gaming products and accessories.  The Product Development Engineer is a champion to accomplish these tasks by blending the technical, project and supplier management skills while working with our ODM partners / CM suppliers and own factory as well as heading up independent development on new innovative products. 

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

Perform engineering duties and disciplines in ME development, such as, Mechanical design experience, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and 2D/3D Creo and Solidworks. Create and maintain engineering milestones and support internal engineering teams. Define technical means to achieve target performance, features, and market objectives. Perform testing and debug efforts on system development platforms. Define corrective actions of failure analysis and provide technical risk to management/ program teams. Function as the technical contact and responsible for communicating with ODM/CM vendors on future Corsair Gaming products. Develop infrastructure and processes to effectively evaluate and qualify new products. Manage the specification, development, and qualification of future Corsair Gaming products.

Essential Skills and Experience:

In depth knowledge of Mechanical design, tooling and manufacturing experiences. Hands-on practical tooling experience and strong analytical skills. Solid work ethic and team player with organized and detailed oriented skills and with passion to drive projects to completion. Must have excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills to communicate accurate, organized, and detailed reports and results. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage vendors to meet spec and schedule requirements. Minimum experience/education: over 8 years, BSME or equivalent. English and Chinese in spoken and written is a MUST.
