Sr. Materials Management Supervisor

 As a Sr. Material Management Supervisor at Honeywell, you\nwill be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials\nmanagement process and team at our R&D facilities. Your primary objectives\nwill include optimizing material handling efficiency and ensuring timely\ndelivery of materials to support our development schedules. You will use your\nleadership and management skills and deep understanding of material and inventory\nmanagement systems.

You will report directly to our Sr. Materials Management Manager and you’ll\nwork out of our Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO location.

As the Sr. Material Management Supervisor, you will lead the activities related\nto shipping and receiving, government property tagging and inventory control.\nYou will provide direction to your team to achieve organizational objectives and\ndrive functional excellence and continuous improvement.

Your strategic oversight and proactive approach to materials management\ncontributes significantly to meeting customer milestones, enhancing overall\nprocess efficiencies and assuring accurate inventory control.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**


•   Manage the\nreceiving/shipping and distribution processes
•   Manage\nthe identification, handling and location of government property
•   Oversee inventory control while\nensuring the performance of accurate and timely cycle counts
•   Foster effective communication and\ncollaboration with internal departments
•   Identify opportunities for process\nimprovement within the materials management function.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job\nposting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business\nneeds and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position is $84,800.00 -$110,000.00.  Please note that this
salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and
responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education
and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual reasons

**YOU MUST HAVE**
•   5+ years of experience in materials\nmanagement and logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply\nchain processes.
5+ years of supervisory experience in materials management and/ or shipping/ receiving and the ability to guide and lead a team
US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

**WE VALUE** 
•   Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain\nManagement, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
•   Excellent communication and\nnegotiation skills.
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving\nskills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
•   Proficiency in SAP materials\nmanagement system or similar ERP system.
