\nYOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
\n\nCost Analysis and Identification of Opportunities:\n\nConduct a detailed analysis of manufacturing processes, material usage, labor costs, and overhead expenses to identify areas for cost reduction.\nUtilize data analysis tools and techniques to quantify costs and project potential savings.\n\nDeveloping and Implementing Cost Reduction Strategies:\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to develop and execute cost reduction strategies.\nPropose and implement process improvements, lean manufacturing techniques, and value engineering initiatives to optimize production costs.\n\nSupplier and Vendor Management:\n\nEvaluate existing suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, improve pricing agreements, and ensure high-quality inputs at reduced costs.\nSource alternative suppliers and materials to achieve cost savings while maintaining product standards.\n\nContinuous Improvement and Innovation:\n\nStay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to cost reduction and production efficiency.\nLead continuous improvement projects to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance productivity.\n\nQuality Control and Assurance:\n\nWork closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that cost-saving measures do not compromise product quality, reliability, or compliance with regulatory standards.\n\nReporting and Documentation:\n\nPrepare regular reports, presentations, and financial analyses to communicate cost reduction achievements, ongoing initiatives, and future opportunities to senior management.\n\n\nU.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. You must have:
\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) may be advantageous.\n5 years of manufacturing floor experience as a process/manufacturing engineer, equipment engineer and/or project engineer.\nProven experience in cost reduction initiatives, process optimization, and improving production efficiency within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, ERP systems).\nExcellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\n\nWE VALUE
