Sr. Manager - Talent Attraction

Company Description

The Senior Talent Attraction Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the talent attraction process for Sutherland Global in Jamaica and Mexico. This position will lead the development and execution of innovative recruitment strategies to address the challenges of a competitive labor market and ensure the company attracts and retains top-tier talent. The Senior Talent Attraction Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive candidate experience, strengthening employer branding, and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement comprehensive talent attraction strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.  Proactively identify and address talent attraction challenges specific to the Jamaican labor market.  Provide guidance and expertise on talent attraction best practices to HR colleagues and hiring managers.  Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative recruitment methodologies.  

Team Management & Cross-Cultural Collaboration:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing talent attraction team.  Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and best practice adoption.  Effectively navigate cross-cultural communication and collaboration with the Director in Colombia, ensuring alignment and seamless execution of talent attraction strategies.

Recruitment Operations:

Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition – Recruiting Team on the entire recruitment cycle, from requisition approval to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.  Manage and optimize the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.  Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, job boards, schools, universities, and industry networks.  

Employer Branding & Marketing:

Champion and enhance Sutherland Global's employer brand in Jamaica to attract top talent.  Oversee the creation and execution of recruitment marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, job boards, university partnerships).  Manage the company's online presence and ensure consistent messaging that reflects the company's values and culture.  

Data Analytics & Reporting:

Utilize data-driven approaches to measure the effectiveness of talent attraction campaigns and identify areas for improvement.  Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate satisfaction) and provide regular reports to senior management.  Analyze data to identify trends, anticipate future talent needs, and proactively address potential talent shortages.  

Diversity & Inclusion:

Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.Ensure compliance with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.  A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in talent attraction or recruitment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.  Proven experience in developing and executing successful talent attraction strategies in a competitive labor market.  Strong understanding of the Jamaican labor market dynamics and talent landscape.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.  Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.  Passion for fostering a positive candidate experience and building a strong employer brand.  

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the BPO industry.  Experience managing remote teams.Familiarity with Jamaican labor laws and regulations.
