Sr. Manager Procurement Processes and Shared Services
Position Overview The Sr. Manager of Procurement Processes and Shared Services, you will lead a team of five resources and play a pivotal role in standardizing, harmonizing, and optimizing the procurement process landscape. You will work closely with functional stakeholders to identify process deficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Your expertise in mapping current state processes, optimizing processes, and value stream mapping will be crucial in driving large-scale transformational changes across people, processes, and technology. Responsibilities • Process Management: Working throughout both International Motors, Traton, and Volkswagen foster partnership and create the vision and strategy to document, evaluate, and standardize existing business processes by involving relevant stakeholders. Goals include enhancing efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality in delivery. Coordinate business process improvement strategies with internal and cross-functional stakeholders.• Change Management: Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance to process changes. Ideal Candidate should be adept at overseeing and managing the change management, implementation, and execution of sourcing plans and cost-saving recommendations • Training & Education: Identify and assess future and current training needs. Develop future training and education strategies within Procurement. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices by fostering close cooperation with the International Motors training academy. Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and success of training programs and report findings.• Shared Service Center Management: Manage and optimize the interface with our Shared Service Center in India, which handles tactical tasks for Procurement. Develop a future strategy for the Shared Service Center. • Collaboration and Innovation: The role requires fostering cooperation with the Traton Network network and coordinating/leading cross-brand activities to harmonize and optimize core procurement processes. The candidate should develop and implement procurement strategies that promote effective and efficient procurement processes.• Automation and Digital Tools: The candidate should adopt digital acceleration tools to eliminate manual transactional processes, providing easier access to procurement services by seamlessly routing work between procurement and finance systems, simplifying onboarding, and automating risk assessment and governance. Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s degree + At least 10 years of business process improvement, lean, six sigma, engineering or analytics experience + At least 4 years of management experience OR + Master’s degree + At least 8 years of business process improvement, lean, six sigma, engineering or analytics experience + At least 4 years of management experience OR + At least 12 years of business process improvement, lean, six sigma, engineering or analytics experience + At least 4 years of management experience Additional Requirements + Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
