Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sr. Manager of Business Operations will enable the achievement of business operations efficiencies and effectiveness through the following:

Product Details Information

Manage master product information across the product portfolio in various systems that include ERP (AX), including website product details pages, annual pricing and updates, FileMaker, and CCLsIncludes updating channel partners on information, product availability, and pricing updatesWork closely with the NPI team to increase efficiency and shorten the launch times of NPIWork closely with customer service and Supply Chain and logistics team to improve efficiencies in ecomm usage, consumable management and backorder managementWork with IT and other marketing teams to facilitate IT solution on-boarding

Business Reporting

Establish and drive effective, reliable, and consistent business reporting tools and processesEstablishes and maintains portfolio, marketing, finance and sales dashboards- Quotes, lead conversion, Backorder reports, Monthly revenue reports etc..Owner of key corporate reporting files – TCPC, Carbon footprint, NPS and Productivity

NPI Process

Own and run the NPI process for all products launching/discontinuing that includes  request/notifying, receiving, tracking/managing new, and discontinued products), and process monthly NPI as indicated in the SOPRegular notification of the sales team of updates for NPIs, target list(s), product updatesCreate PDF and save Data Sheets to Approved Products folder (notify Operations and tech support)Ensure that QA manages the Approved Product documentation (working with R&D, Cell Services and Ops)Gathering key metrics and information used to evaluate new product initiatives and product lifecycle management decisions (revenue, number of projects, etc.).Own process for uploading all relevant content to master data bases for use in the marketing, support, and sale of the product portfolio.

CCL management

Lead and manage the CCL processMaintain CCL SOP and work with QA, PMs, Marketing, and Operations for any updates, as neededSchedule and run regular CCL meetings to maintain progressManage dashboards and create efficiencies

Procurement Partner and Distributor Management

Work with sales and marketing to effectively grow the procurement and distributor marketsManage global procurement partners that include contracts, product changes, pricing, and others to increase revenue growth through the procurement channelWork with regional sales teams to support distributor networks that include updated product lists, pricing, marketing content.

Resource utilization

Identify reportable savings of $0.3M-$0.5 M in annualized costs calculated as consumables or FTE utilization

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Deep understanding of finance and business operational processesAbility to work with multiple databases and strong experience and skills in Excel, BI, Sharepoint, and other MS office suiteExperience in the operational and business dynamics of a Life Science or Drug Discovery companyKnowledge and experience in running projects leveraging professional skills such as Six Sigma and othersBachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of industrial experience and 3+ years in supervisory role; advanced degree in business preferred.

Additional Information

Salary: $110,000 - $160,000/yr. 

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
