As our Senior Manager Compliance Professional Affairs, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and operational leadership of the Consultant Management /Professional Affairs team. You will ensure excellence in consultant engagement and partnership with key stakeholders. This role will demand a high level of leadership acumen, strategic thinking, and expertise in healthcare compliance, coupled with the ability to drive team performance and build strong relationships across the organization. You will serve as a primary point of contact for business partners, aligning team efforts with organizational goals and driving innovation, synergy and collaboration across the team. This person will directly manage a team of at least 4 direct reports with in a broader team of 8. This is a hybrid role and hybrid is defined as the ability to drive to our Portage, Michigan or Mahwah, NJ locations as needed for meetings.
Provide oversight and management of Consultant Management team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Develop and implement performance goals, incorporating clear objectives, measurable KPIs, and ongoing coaching.
Lead initiatives to enhance team collaboration and streamline processes to ensure synergy and alignment.
Oversee and lead the end-to-end consultant management process, including needs assessment, contracting, service and payment management.
Oversee the management of day-to-day operations surrounding the needs assessment and the Consultant Activity Planning System (CAPS)
Develop and administer training programs to consultants and employees on Stryker’s Healthcare Professional (HCP) consultant programs.
Function as a liaison for Healthcare Professional Consultants escalations to ensure compliant interactions.
Serve as a subject matter expert on HCP engagement activities and risk mitigation, guiding the team and stakeholders to make informed, compliant decisions.
Regularly participate in meetings and strategy sessions to represent Consultant Management priorities and contribute insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of consultant programs.
What you need:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree is needed for this role.
10+ years of relevant experience in a compliance-driven or highly regulated environment required.
Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-functional collaborations.
Knowledge of AdvaMed, Anti Kick-Back, and federal guidelines related to the healthcare industry or any federally regulated environment a plus.
Preferred:
2+ years of leading a team or complex business process in a highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
