Responsibilities
In this impactful role, you will be managing an Analog IC product design team to develop Analog/Digital Controller ICs in Silicon, SOI, and Bi-CMOS processes for front end module products for Wi-Fi applications. These controllers may include common analog blocks such as low-dropout regulator (LDO), bandgap circuits, voltage and current references, digital driver and decoder, level shifters, charge-pump circuits, op-amps, log detector, and their use in controlling RF circuits and to meet module requirements.
Candidates will be leading design development and also provide technical leadership in all phases of product development, including product definition, system architecture design and planning, block-level specification, transistor-level circuit analysis, leading design approach and simulation, layout floor-planning and layout supervision, leading analog lab verification testing and characterization planning, and assist in any related pre and post-production support.
Required Experience and Skills
+ MS +12 years or PhD Degree +8 years of analog IC design in Silicon/SOI/Bi-CMOS process
+ Proven leadership in product execution and design innovation
+ Strong experience in analog IC design circuits including bandgap, LDO, positive & negative voltage generators, op-amp designs, level shifter, I/O driver, digital controller, and digital decoder
+ Strong SOI device physic and transistor-level modeling and simulations in Silicon process 180nm or below
+ Strong analog fundamentals such as corner and Monte-Carlo analysis, device matching, noises and cross talks, layout parasitic, circuit stability
+ Strong circuit simulation skills utilizing Cadence/Spectre/Maestro for analog IC design
+ Experience in analog layout best practices and familiar with Cadence Virtuoso
+ Experience in mixed signal and digital integration
+ Demonstrated project management and talent management skills
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate engineering talent, define and set deliverables, plan resources, manage schedule, drive design methodology improvement, and achieve desired results
+ Must possess good communication and presentation skills and the desire to be part of a dynamic team
Desired Experience and Skills
+ Packaging of integrated module IC product and understanding of package parasitic
+ IC process and IC fabrication knowledge (in Silicon, SOI, BiCMOS)
+ Experience in working with foundries, interfacing with cross-functional teams
+ System and communication background, understanding of communication standards and serial BUS/MIPI interfaces
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $139,100 - $278,300 per year . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
