Sr. Manager, Threat Intelligence Services

The Role 

Proofpoint is looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager to lead the Proofpoint Threat Intelligence Service Team. As a Sr. Manager of Threat Intelligence Services, you will lead a team of analysts leveraging Proofpoint threat data to provide context to the threat landscape and as a commercial service to our Proofpoint clients. This role will focus on ensuring the team is consistently delivering actionable threat-related insights to clients while managing topline growth and margin expectations for the practice.  This role will also lead expansion / tuning of the service portfolio and technical enablement of service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading consulting / services practice, leading /supporting market development efforts, and experience with products serving threat intelligence professionals. The candidate will have demonstrated abilities in people management, building consensus (influencing and driving change), and achieving results. 

Your day-to-day  

Drive customer success and engagement  

Oversee the delivery of cybersecurity services to ensure customer satisfaction and retention 

Act as a strategic advisor to customers, ensuring they maximize value from our services 

Develop and refine processes to improve service quality and responsiveness 

Expand and enhance service offerings  

Work with sales and product teams to develop and deliver go-to-market strategies 

Identify opportunities for business growth and service innovation 

Leverage APIs and automation to optimize service delivery and integration 

Promote awareness of cybersecurity services  

Represent Proofpoint in customer meetings, industry events, and executive briefings 

Develop presentations and reports to articulate the value of our services to stakeholders  

Lead and grow a high-performing services team  

Mentor, train, and develop team members 

Develop resource planning and service delivery models to align with business objectives 

What you bring to the team 

Demonstrated people leadership and management ideally in Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence 

At least 2 years of experience of service delivery and people leadership 

Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

Track record of working effectively with critical partners, both internally and externally 

Experience in customer-facing roles, driving engagement, and maintaining strong client relationships 

Experience growing a tech-enabled services practice, ideally in cybersecurity

Familiarity with APIs and automation, especially in cybersecurity or threat intelligence solutions 

Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience engaging executive stakeholders 

Ability to lead through change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 

Project management expertise, ensuring the successful execution of business initiatives 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in cybersecurity services, cyber threat intelligence, managed services, or security consulting 

Understanding of cybersecurity ecosystems, including threat intelligence, security platforms, and integrations 

Knowledge of key cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices 

Familiarity with Proofpoint and people-centric security

The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 182,175.00 - 267,190.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 146,550.00 - 214,940.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 132,975.00 - 195,030.00 USD
