The Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Network Informatics will oversee and manage the Pharmacy Network Informatics Team. This position will support the Navitus Provider Services, Sales, Account Management, Implementation, and Government Programs departments, and Navitus’ pharmacy network pricing and reporting requirements. The Sr. Manager will oversee and lead Navitus Network Pricing Teams, Network Reporting, the Navitus MAC Team, and the Compliance Analysts to ensure the success of business needs, financial guarantee, and risk analysis. The individual will leverage use of analytics to assist internal customers to make informed decisions to decrease Navitus’ financial risk and increase Navitus’ sales and marketing opportunities and will serve as the Provider Services primary subject matter expert on RFP response.

Effectively interpret data models to establish prospect and renewal pricing and forecast solutions to secure new/retained businessReview and approve price offers from Network Pricing AnalystsConsult on Retail, Specialty, and Mail contracting strategy and innovation of network contractsMonitor industry events to forecast introduction of new generic products to the marketplace, manage exclusivity timelines, and monitor availabilityLead a cross functional team in the creation of a reliable generic forecasting tool to be used in underwriting new business opportunities and client retention effortsIntimately and effectively understand applicable data sources and models, including limitations of use and processes to ensure and enhance integrity. Applicable data sources and models include but are not limited to proprietary internal databases, PC2, Quest Analytics, Qlikview extracts, PAC, Medi-Span, HHSC, and CMS data filesDirect the Data Analyst to use applicable data sources to generate existing periodic reports for clients, pharmacies, and internal customers. Identify ways to improve and automate generation and accuracy of these reportsContinue to enhance the tools and automation processes already utilized to perform geo-access analysis, disruption analyses, custom pharmacy listings and other reportsDefend governmental and commercial reports as requested in formal audits with third party auditors. Identify meaningful report validation techniques and participate in full validation of audited reportsCoordinate with the Navitus Legal team on review and reacting to pending state legislation’s impact on Navitus network reimbursement strategy and processesOther duties as assigned QualificationsWhat our team expects from you?
BA/BS required2+ years of management experience required.Educational concentration consisting of information systems, statistics, finance, actuarial sciences, or business preferredAdditional courses in a health-related field, especially pharmacy, desirableMinimum five years PBM or managed care supervisory experience preferredFive to seven years’ experience in healthcare economics or PBM analytics desiredParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesWhat can you expect from Navitus?
