Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Capital, the Senior Manager, Enterprise Capital Process is responsible for process compliance, change management, and the continuous refinement of project management strategies, tools, resources, and governance within Nutrien.

 

What you will do:

 

Implement and enhance project management standardization and effectiveness within the organization, through development of standardized processes and ensuring consistent practices and methodologies are applied. Develop and support the adoption of the Capital Governance Policy, ensuring all capital portfolio processes comply with these governance standards for accountability and efficiency. Manage change initiatives effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to project objectives. Provide comprehensive project process training to ensure team members are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to execute projects successfully. Drive continuous improvement of the Nutrien Enterprise project processes, identifying opportunities for enhancements and implementing innovative solutions to improve effectiveness.

 

What you will bring:
 

Business related University Degree, preferably with a specialization in a Engineering, Business, Finance or Project Management. 10+ years of related experience in project management in either an industrial or retail setting. Experience developing project governance frameworks and associated training programs. Superior presentation skills with experience delivering training to experienced professionals. Professional designation in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) would be considered an asset. Solid understanding of Nutrien’s business drivers and operating activities considered an asset. The ability to interface with various levels of management in a multi-task, deadline-orientated, team environment. Strong leadership, analytical, written, and verbal communication and organizational skills. Experience in forecast modeling through systems and Excel. Strong Microsoft Office proficiency - Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, proficiency in Excel a must. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Systems oriented thinking. Ability to work with a variety of technological tools in an efficient manner. Sound, professional judgment and subject matter expertise in relevant accounting and finance matters. Highly detail oriented.
