Sr. Manager, Engineering (Contract Party Management)

What you'll do Our business is built on finding great people and getting out of their way while they build and improve our award-winning Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join the Docusign CLM Engineering team and help scale and build the next generation of CLM experiences. As a technology leader, you will help build a top-tier software organization that is responsible for the development and upkeep of highly scalable, reliable, and available (“5 nines”) systems. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering. Responsibility Own and deliver roadmap for Contract Party Management Build services and user experiences with scale Enhance Docusign CLM and IAM product to support growth and maintain SLA targets Build a high performing and responsible engineering team Find and develop great talent Build learning organizations that keep up with the state of the art Be an example and mentor to your team Deliver products that delight customers while managing the health of the code base through continuous refactoring and management of technical debt Be an expert at system design, agile continuous delivery and operational excellence and will champion the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a frictionless, high-quality development environment Dive deep into technology, are on the forefront of the latest tools, technologies, and strategies, and help evaluate, prototype, and introduce them to our team Provide coaching and leadership in software best practices, automated test strategies, and work toward flattening the cost of change curve for our software products and services Prioritize great user experiences and be a partner to product management and engineering, customer support, operations, and other parts of the business Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Experience building high performing, secure applications and building security into the DNA of products 8+ years of combined software development and management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience 8+ years of hands on software development or equivalent experience 5+ years of managing software engineering teams Preferred Experience with leading full stack teams Demonstrated track record leading geographically dispersed teams Experience working in at least 3 languages or paradigms, or equivalent experience Experience with large complex data ecosystems and data quality and lifecycle issues Demonstrated track record of being a change agent Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems Experience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.) SaaS or Cloud experience A passion for continuous improvement Wage Transparency Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary Illinois and Colorado: $164,800.00 - $232,750.00 base salary Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary Washington DC: $171,500.00 - $242,225.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
