The Sr. Manager, Community Impact Business Initiatives- Pharmaceutical Sales and Solutions (PSaS) is primarily responsible for developing and executing a strategy of impact which ties the community and business needs together, using rigor and data to determine optimal activations which support employees, communities and business priorities with the goals to advance health outcomes for all focused on building trust and closing care gaps. Candidate should have healthcare experience, worked in a large organization and experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Ability to understand business strategic needs and translating that into relevant events, activations and engagement to drive measurable outcomes. You will need the ability to work across McKesson's largest segment, quickly understand the needs of the business, our customers and communities and design innovative solutions which advance health equity.

PSaS Impact

Work with the Impact Innovation & Activation team but be embedded in the PSaS business attending their meetings, conferences and events. This will require additional effort to build relationships across PSaS, coordinate efforts across the segment and ensure alignment with enterprise goals and objectives.

Develop employee community engagement programs that drive employee community engagement and support overall business and corporate impact objectives.

Design and implement activations such as health fairs, vaccine events, literacy and education support activations, kit building and more which bring together the business, community and company needs

Maintain a high awareness of corporate impact issues. Benchmark competition and industry best practices.

Develop tracking metrics to measure the impact and efficiency of programs and processes and be able to extrapolate those to financial and operational outcomes

Ensure progress toward achieving strategic objectives.

Operations and Team Management

Design, implement, and manage all aspects of PSaS’s all-employee volunteer events.

Develop and implement employee PSaS impact strategy to increase employee awareness, inspiration, skills, and participation in opportunities that make an impact.

Own employee corporate impact program policies, benefits, systems, and logistics.

Track and maintain the annual Impact budget and ensure projects and initiatives for the year remain on-target. Oversee the disbursement of funds and maintenance of supporting documentation. Track and report progress on budget and key performance indicators.

Work with vendors and care ambassadors to develop and implement processes to ensure that all project-related supplies are shipped and received, with accurate inventory, in a timely manner.

Lead the promotion and implementation of employee programs

integrate into business segments, distribution centers and other PSaS settings to set the strategy and execute key deliverables

Communications

Create instructional toolkits, FAQ documents, and email content for targeted audiences to promote and support employee engagement in McKesson Impact Programs.

Present on employee community engagement and corporate impact topics as appropriate.

Develop, track, and report program metrics to key stakeholders.  Perform and report YOY analysis on program participation.

Execute Corporate Impact team’s internal and external communications strategy and content to articulate the value of McKesson’s Corporate impact programs to key stakeholders.

Partner with internal communicators to achieve multi-channel internal and external audience reach, mobilization, and engagement.

Develop, track and report program metrics to key stakeholders. Perform and report YOY analysis for program participation.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS/BA required; advanced degree desirable

Healthcare experience and background, pharmaceutical experience preferred

Typically requires 9+ years of relevant work experience, including 1+ years of progressive management experience with budget accountability and requisite reporting.

Critical skills you bring:

9+ years’ experience driving strategy and operations for impact within a major corporation (Fortune 500)

Experience developing vision and plans that align with company goals thru collaboration with key leaders

Successful track record of leading teams to achieve business results

Must have experience working with, and presenting to, senior level leaders

Must be comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at being innovative and bringing ideas to life

Strong written and oral communications skills with ability to tailor messages to a wide variety of audiences

Ability to create and maintain effective reporting (must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

Experience driving change management with a proven ability to influence and drive initiatives across functions, levels, and regions

Ability to prioritize ongoing and new projects, as well as to conduct research, gather information, solve problems and make decisions

Excellent judgment and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically about program design and implementation

Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
