About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Magento Developer to lead the development, customization, and optimization of Magento-based eCommerce platforms. The candidate should have extensive experience with Magento 2 development, strong problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of best practices for eCommerce solutions.
Requirements
5+ years of Magento development experience, with a strong focus on Magento 2.
BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Knockout.js.
Deep understanding of Magento architecture, theming, and module development.
Experience with Magento APIs, REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques (caching, indexing, database tuning).
Proficiency in Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like ADO, Jira.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable Magento 2 eCommerce solutions.
Lead and oversee the development of custom Magento modules, extensions, and integrations.
In-depth knowledge of Magento architecture (preferably Adobe Commerce cloud), best practices, and coding standards.
Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug complex Magento issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and stakeholders to create seamless user experiences.
Perform code reviews and enforce best development practices.
Work closely with DevOps teams to manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and server configurations.
Stay updated with Magento updates, security patches, and latest eCommerce trends.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Document development processes, coding standards, and architectural decisions.
