Responsible for developing middle-tier application integration using Java and the FUSE ESB framework.

· Perform various coding and programming tasks, such as design or development of Apache Camel routes, Service mix components, OSGI services, and SOAP web services.

· Role will include the full life cycle of design, coding, and testing activities.

· Facilitate requirements and fit/gap workshops with other technical staff on technical topics and non-functional requirements.

· Investigate and resolve situations where actual test results do not match expected test results.

· Assist production operations staff in resolving production issues.

· To uphold highest professional standards and work ethic expected of all our technical staff and to lead by example when working with less experienced staff.
 
Skills Requirements:


· Strong development experience in Core Java, Spring, JMS/MQ/JDBC/, XML SOAP / CXF.

· Open source skills in Service mix, Camel.

· Strong development experience with Java ESB frameworks, FUSE ESB preferred

· Experience with build frameworks, Maven preferred.

· Experience with Apache Camel.

· Experience with OSGI, Apache Karaf preferred.

· Experience with UNIX, installing application software and testing it there.

· Experience with SOAP web service development, Apache CXF preferred.

· Ability to understand our architecture and implement new SOA integration based on the architecture.

· Experience writing and maintaining application software documentation including scope requirements, logical designs, technical designs, testing plans, etc.



Addl. Info:-    Minimum experience and education: Candidates with a BS degree must have the minimum of  11 years or 132 months of work experience specific to the job description.  

 

If a candidate has a Master’s degree, they still need a minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience but only nine years or 108months of experience specific to the job.  The other work experience to meet the 132 months does not have to be IT related.

Work experience while in college can be counted toward the overall years.

 

If no degree, work experience may be substituted.

Background clearance: All candidates selected will have to go through a Federal government background check prior to being able to start.  Generally, the background process takes between 3,4 or 5 weeks. The time is dependent on how quickly the candidate is able to complete the paperwork.

Candidates will obtain a Public Trust clearance upon approval.
