Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager

A law firm is looking for a Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager to join their team.
Hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ET.
This person will need to be available to come onsite – hybrid as needed. There aren't any firm requirements to be onsite as the role will primarily be remote, but individual might be asked to come onsite a few times per month (or as needed / requested by the department). Can consider MD, VA and D.C. area, but they should be within a reasonable commuting distance to D.C. office.
The BRM's main focus is engagement with different administrative functions/units across the firm (including: HR, Compliance, Accounting, etc.) regarding technology needs. This person will be responsible for gathering scope / business case and technical needs from various departments / stakeholders, reaching out to various vendors, getting the SOW in place and being able to communicate the technology needs back to technology vendors. They must have really solid communication skills and understand technology, but also be able to translate that back to normal / laymen's terms for the users and those who are in need of tech services. I.E. this person could interact with HR to help build out a technology function within HRIS system, workday. This person will be the middle man in communicating firm needs to the vendor (workday) and help get the project moving into play.Qualifications: 7 years of relevant / relatable experience to BRM Consulting work is great – and law firm is preferred although many firms might not have this function currently No specific tools or technology requirements needed, but candidate should be familiar with process documenting tools such as visio, etc. An MBA is highly preferred (not required), and any relatable BRM certs would be desirable but not required by any means.
