We are in search of a **Sr. IT Asset Management Specialist** to support our **Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H)** program. As aSr. IT Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible in supporting the complete life cycle of software and hardware assets within the IT organization. Responsibilities include tracking, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets to maximize value and minimize costs while adhering to compliance regulations. Key tasks involve inventory management, software license compliance, and life cycle tracking. The role also assists and utilizes IT asset management, service management, and IT operations management systems.
**Candidate MUST:**
Be currently located in the United States.
Be US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a level 4 Public Trust Clearance.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Support the full life cycle of software and hardware asset management including tracking, discovery, analyzing, reporting, compliance, upgrades, and disposal utilizing company's finance, asset management, and service management systems Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Execute and support internal audits and external vendor audits of software and hardware on an ongoing basis to ensure license compliance, version control, and end-of-life upgrade protection.
+ Aid in the administrative and technical support of asset management and service management systems.
+ Review, approve, and support end user requests for software licensing using the approved ITSM.
+ Respond to requests from end users, managers, developers, etc. for specific software licensing and/or hardware information.
+ Support and maintain software and hardware asset records within ZenDesk.
+ Enter and maintain software and hardware inventory information in asset management system.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years’ experience in asset management, inventory controls systems, and risk management.
+ Bachelor’s degree or related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ Must be willing to work onsite in both Rockville, MD and Washington, DC.
+ Experience in collaborating and coordinating with a cross-matrix organization to ensure contracts and deliverables are adequately reviewed from a total asset management perspective.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
+ Experience with security assessment tools such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools.
+ Ability to work/collaborate with different contractor and government teams as well as industry and vendors with a high level of professionalism, goodjudgment, and tact.
+ Experience using ZenDesk.
+ Active Public Trust Clearance or Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

**Pay Range:**
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
