IMPACT
The Sr. IT Applications Manager, HCM (Oracle) will be responsible for all HCM (Human Capital Management) systems and services using a variety of applications (SAAS and On-Premise) including governance and compliance. This person oversee the development and execution of the Company's HCM product roadmap, as they navigate through digital transformation to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that accurate and efficient best practice processes are in place to support all HCM system functions. Note, this is an APPLICATIONS manager role and does not have direct reports.

This position is located at the company HQ in Birmingham, AL. A DAY IN THE LIFE
Provide leadership to programs/projects as part of a HCM digital transformation effort (on-prem to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM) Partner with the business and technology groups to deliver and maintain enterprise HCM solutions Serve as a subject matter expert on HCM-related products and technologies, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and customers Support the company's compliance and data governance practices Owner of all system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics in the area of HCM Lead the the effort to provide the full product lifecycle for functional programs/projects including ideation, prioritization, design, development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement Partner with the development, integration, and testing teams to produce quality solutions and timely results Responsible for quarterly patch evaluation, analyzing new or changed functionality, developing test plans, unit testing, and coordinating with business users in testing activities to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement Participate in M&A activities and understand the impact on current business processes, integrations, and reports. Work with cross-functional business groups to lead/execute the integration plan
IDEAL PROFILE
8+ years of experience and SME level skills in Oracle HCM applications management, including transformations to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Successfully led at least one full-cycle digital transformation from Oracle HCM on-premise to the Cloud Solid experience in implementing, utilizing, and supporting Cloud/ERP solutions, specifically Oracle HCM In-depth knowledge of business processes and experience in applications management methodologies, tools, and best practices Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams Customer-centric and user experience focused Self-motivated, directed and change-oriented Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field Local to the Birmingham area or willing to relocate upon hire (from within the USA).
