What You Will Do
Support scheduling activities for moderate to high-risk programs, ensuring alignment with contractual objectivesUtilize expertise in earned value management and scheduling tools (SAP, Cobra, Microsoft products) to monitor and report performanceResolve complex issues and contribute to the development of scheduling standards and techniquesCoordinate integrated master plans and schedules across functional groups to meet program objectivesConduct schedule risk assessments and utilize project management techniques to track progress and identify variancesDevelop IMP/IMS models independently from proposal documents and ensure compliance with project requirementsLead training initiatives for program specialists and junior schedulers, ensuring proficiency in scheduling practicesContributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered an expert in the field within the organizationAll Statement of Work (SOW) discrete scope is modeled in the IMS. Assist program teams in developing WBS in accordance with MIL-STD-881Application of company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure plans and schedules are in complianceUnderstands and complies with requirements in DI-MGMT-81861B/C, DCMA Schedule Assessment Guide and Planning and Scheduling Excellence GuideEnsure adherence to company policies and ethical standards, with a focus on compliance and effective resolution of issuesQualifications You Must Have
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.Earned Value Management (EVMS) experienceQualifications We Prefer
Experience with Microsoft Office including extensive experience in Excel Experience with SAP Experience with Earned Value Cost Engines/Software Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills Understanding of corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts Strong oral and written communication skills Proven experience presenting to large groups and leadership Capability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment Ability to gain a DOD Security clearance Ability to travel up to 10%What We Offer
