Sr. Inspection AIOT engineer **Date:** Jan 15, 2025 **Location:** Taichung, TW, 407 **Company:** Corning **Key Responsibilities** + Install digital sensor / camera and development system to achieve digitalization from analog information to digital data. + Build up Process data foundation from shop floor through advanced gauge application. + Explore new application in current inspection system with low-cost solutions + Develop artificial intelligence process control system from existing process / inspection raw data located in database. + Deliver engineering support to shop floor, identifies root cause and implements corrective & preventive action to meet the manufacturing performance target. + Leads performance improvement project to achieve target goal. Such as quality, lowest cost and equipment capability development projects. + Weekend coverage is requirement as needed + Handle new technology or system implementation then provide training to shopfloor. + Implements and documents material, process and/or equipment changes. + Support Finishing startup activities as needed. **Experiences/Education** + Bachelor or Master of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Communication engineering or other engineering related. + In current position for 2 year or above. + Good English proficiency in writing, listening and speaking and TOEIC 550 is a plus. **Skills:** **Required Skills:** + Proficient in Programming skill (C++ / C# / Python) + Familiar with Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Deep Learning (Nature Language/Image/Time Series) model/algorithm) + Application of advance sensor, camera system and other transducer unit + Familiar with PC hardware, OS(Windows and Linux), and network communication + Skills in database application software of SQL server and PowerQuery + AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) system installation and capability improvement experience + AIOT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) application related experience + Report & presentation skills + Safety awareness **Desired Skills** + AOI / AIOT system research & development experience + Project Leadership Experience (defining scopes, budget, timelines, collaborate with project member and stakeholders etc.) + Experience in implementing digital transformation related technology to improve manufacturing efficiency + Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin) **Soft Skills** + Behavior strong ownership of achieving plant goal + Sense of urgency and creativity to handle project issues and adapt plan to meet objectives + Flexibility to adapt to changing environment; be a change agent to help others through change + Cross-cultural sensitivity + Communication skills and positive working attitude in team
