Sr. Hyperion Administrator
Position OverviewAs a Senior Hyperion Administrator, you will serve as a senior Business Intelligence administrator for Hyperion, including Essbase, Financial reporting, Hyperion planning applications and future implementations of Oracle OBIEE. You will be responsible for the daily Management Reporting application support for Corporate Finance, including Hyperion and OBIEE system support, reports development and end user support. Manage the timing and execution of data loads, calculations, and system consolidations. You will develop and maintain Hyperion Essbase applications, data load rules, dimension build rules, calculation scripts, and report scripts. You will also provide technical administration assistance to the business for weekly budget and rolling forecast processes while working to map out and document technical roadmap.

Job DescriptionServe as point person for Finance-Hyperion/OBIEE IT projects by understanding requirements, delegating tasks to other teams, prioritizing work and reviewing results.Develop, implement and maintain ASO, BSO cubes, Outlines, dimensions, loading data, calculating data and aggregation techniques. Administer Hyperion Essbase, including: planning and reporting, system tuning, backups and recovery, troubleshooting system issuesResearch and resolve issues with metadata and GL balances, create and maintain hierarchies, write or modify basic calc scripts or business rules, execute processes such as deploying data and updating variables, assign security roles, create/modify web forms, and maintain mapping of source data from local source systems to Hyperion Essbase target databasestRecognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutionsDevelop complex rule files to adjust mainframe feeds for data loading, dimension building and modified existing rule filesDevelop new calc scripts according to business requirements and modify the existing scripts to reduce the calc run time.Perform all month-end/Quarter-end/year-end close processes needed in the system to report timely and accurate financial statements, forecasts and budgets.Maintain and support EPBCS metadata, Business Rules and data loads and automating integrations to support Forecast / Budget cycles.Maintain and Support ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Services), including but limited to security, and GL balances data load integrations.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience with HyperionBachelor's degree requiredProficient in Windows and Unix operating SystemsExperience with writing Shell and batch scripts to automated processesExperience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL QueriesExperience with Data Integration concepts between source Systems and target Essbase applications.Experience in building new integrations using EPBCS data management toolsGood understanding of Oracle Infrastructure Cloud (OCI)Exposure to Oracle Analytics cloud (OAC) preferred
