This role functions as the key HR strategic business partner with business leadership teams within the Thermo King plant in Hastings, Nebraska.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of driving HR initiatives that align with business goals and foster a positive organizational culture for both salaried and hourly employees.

What you will do:
Serve as a credible coach and confidante to leadership teams and act as a strong advocate for employees.Provide leadership, guidance, and counsel on talent, organizational change, human capital, and employee engagement.Offer insights and options on key business issues, aligning people strategy with business strategy.Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure business complianceServe as a trusted advisor to management and employees on a wide range of employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.Guide leadership on talent management, development, and succession planning.Ensure the development of talent capabilities and bench strength to support the business.Serve as an expert in change management processes to enhance organizational effectiveness. Provide guidance and coaching to leadership on change management.Drive and enable cultural transformation to support a diverse and inclusive environment.Develop a sustainable strategic workforce plan for the organization.Collaborate with other plant HR leaders to share best practices, address critical needs, and support sector initiatives.Provide coaching and guidance on organizational development, including analysis, strategy, structure, and key processes.Build and support an employee engagement strategy to enhance organizational performance and culture.Focus on innovation, efficiency, process excellence, and accountability. Lead the plant HR team.What you will bring:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred5 - 10 years experience in the Human Resources Function with prior team leadership experience preferredProven track record of successfully managing employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and implementing disciplinary actions.Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing changeStrong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and organization development experienceDemonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with clients where integrity is unquestioned cCan effectively utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills when neededAbility to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectivesExcellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization Preferred SPHR/PHR certificateProficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPointCompensation:
Base Pay Range: $120,000 to $170,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
