As a member of the Classification & Origin team, you will be responsible for accurately classifying a broad range of products in accordance with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, European Union, UK, and any other jurisdiction Resideo operates in. **JOB DUTIES:** + Assign HTS classification to support import activities in countries where the company operates. + Identify the required information for classification and gathering information from systems and/or colleagues of the relevant departments such as sourcing, engineering, R&D and other areas. **YOU MUST HAVE:** + 3+ years of experience in the field of customs classification. + 3+ years of experience researching and use tools such as Cross Rulings, explanatory notes, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, drawing/specs, and other materials to help classify products. + 3+ years of experience with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, European Union, and UK. + 3+ years of experience interpreting and applying regulatory laws and guidelines. **WE VALUE:** + Experience with Customs regulations, classification determination, and ability to use multiple tools for information gathering. + Work independently and work within a work group collaborating on continuous improvement. + Curiosity about technology. + Think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion + Excellent oral and written communications, collaboration and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. + Independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanor. + Deep and thorough analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. + Strong ability to logically document and explain processes. + Be able to navigate Microsoft office software (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word) **WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:** + Collaborative environment, inside a growing organization, with diverse family of products that you have the opportunity to impact daily. + High visibility role reporting into the legal division on a diverse global team. + Opportunity to make a difference. \#LI-AM2 \#LI-Hybrid Resideo is a leading global provider of critical comfort and security solutions primarily in residential environments and distributor of low-voltage electronic and security products.
