Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) that specializes in marketing-related finance operations. This role calls for a financial expert with advanced Excel skills and the ability to develop and implement budget systems, manage purchase requisitions (PRs), and improve financial hygiene across integrated marketing workflows. Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage comprehensive budgets and forecasts for multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee purchase requisition workflows, tracking progress and reconciling financial data to maintain efficiency.
• Implement new budgeting software and purchase order systems to optimize financial processes and reporting.
• Conduct detailed data analysis using advanced Excel techniques to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Partner with teams across finance, procurement, and marketing to ensure seamless integration of financial operations.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on financial statuses, including forecasting and work-in-process summaries.
• Map financial activities to ensure organized reporting and improved financial hygiene.
• Identify and address process gaps to enhance efficiency in finance and marketing collaboration.
• Act as a procurement liaison, particularly for research and digital marketing expenditures.
• Support non-financial stakeholders in understanding and navigating financial workflows.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on marketing finance preferred.
• Proven expertise in budget preparation, forecasting, and reconciliation at a regional or global level.
• Familiarity with purchase requisition and purchase order systems, as well as procurement workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, graphing, and data modeling.
• Experience with financial software implementation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize financial data effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Uptempo or similar financial marketing systems is a bonus (not required).
