As a Senior Failure Analysis Engineer, you will be an expert in device failure analysis, with a strong ability to identify root causes, develop effective solutions, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams. Your contributions will directly impact product quality, reliability, and timelines. Your responsibilities will include:
• Being a subject matter expert in device failure analysis, with a strong ability to identify root causes, develop effective solutions, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams. • Lead rapid root cause investigations for failures arising from product testing, manufacturing processes, and field operations.
• Identify failures at both the component and system levels, and develop detailed failure analysis plans to diagnose and confirm root causes.
• Execute failure analysis plans end-to-end — from strategy development through hands-on tool operation in the laboratory.
• Write clear, concise, and actionable failure analysis reports, effectively communicating results and recommendations to cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams.
• Provide expert guidance on issue mitigation strategies, contributing directly to the refinement of product designs.
• Drive implementation of corrective actions to improve product quality, meet hardware reliability goals, and support program timelines.
• Conduct materials characterization and analysis to support advanced technology development and validation.
• Apply your expertise in a wide range of failure analysis techniques, while innovating new diagnostic tools, tests, and more efficient analysis methodologies.
• Serve as a technical authority and key influence within the failure analysis team
