Key Responsibilities:
Soft Services Management:
Oversee all soft services including cleaning, security, reception, and mailroom operationsManage vendor relationships and contracts for outsourced servicesEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsEvents Management:
Lead the planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, and meetingsCoordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for event requirementsManage event budgets and resources effectivelyStrategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategies for efficient soft services managementCreate long-term plans for events management aligned with organizational goalsIdentify opportunities for service improvements and cost efficienciesTeam Leadership:
Manage and develop a team of facilities and events professionalsSet performance goals and conduct regular evaluationsFoster a culture of excellence and continuous improvementBudget Management:
Prepare and oversee budgets for soft services and eventsAnalyze expenditures and implement cost-saving measuresProvide financial reports and forecasts to senior managementQuality Assurance:
Establish and maintain high standards for all soft services and eventsImplement quality control measures and conduct regular auditsAddress and resolve any service-related issues promptlyInnovation and Technology:
Stay updated on industry trends and best practicesImplement new technologies to improve service delivery and efficiencyDrive digital transformation initiatives in facilities managementStakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and external partnersRegularly communicate with senior leadership on service performance and initiativesHandle high-level client requests and escalationsSustainability and CSR:
Incorporate sustainable practices in soft services and event managementAlign facilities operations with the organization's corporate social responsibility goalsRisk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks related to facilities operations and eventsEnsure business continuity plans are in place for critical soft servicesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field7+ years of experience in facilities management with a focus on soft services and eventsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven track record in strategic planning and budget managementKnowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsExperience with facilities management software and technologiesProfessional certifications in facilities management (e.g., IFMA credentials) preferredThis role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise who can balance the day-to-day management of soft services with the dynamic requirements of events management in a corporate environment.
