JOB PURPOSE: Provide leadership to handle demands from projects and technology upgrades including recommendations for vendor tools/solutions and global alignment of networks. Lead network operations projects, including budgeting, planning, implementation, maintenance, administration, staffing and logistics. This position holder will act as the main SME for all wireless technologies in Hikma globally. Will assist the global lead in setting the strategies and recommending the tools and vendors to serve Hikma’s infrastructure. Will also provide operational support for a multi-countries network. This position is responsible for plan, design, implement, manage, and maintain Network, Support and Projects. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Document all diagrams for LAN, WAN & WLAN, review on yearly basis. Active participation in life cycle management ensuring that all owned infrastructure is kept secure using approved software updates. Assist with testing of all proposed software updates. Plan, direct, maintain, and coordinate network installation, maintenance, and operations. Gathering input from stakeholders to make recommendations on long term IT strategies. Familiar with working on Cisco Nexus core switches Cisco Edge switches Cisco Routers. Cisco Internet and Datacenter Firewalls (FMC’s. FTD’s. ASA’s) Cisco ISE Cisco WLC The primary responsibility is to configure, administer, and document wireless infrastructure, working with Cisco AP’s/WLC/ISE. Must ensure the maintenance of clustered ISE environments Globally. Should have proper knowledge with Ekahau tools and how to generate wireless heatmaps Plays a prominent role in implementing the Wireless network rules and provide the needed BoQ based on a heatmap. Main contact for Wireless troubleshooting and maintenance Globally. Diagnoses and rectifies any problems with the network and wireless and associated peripherals. Should maintain our wireless network and stay updated on any Cisco recommendations and how they affect our network. Should be well-versed with Cisco wireless network, capabilities, and architectures. Provides technical assistance required for VPN client infrastructure. Writing IT SOPs, Policies, Change Control Forms, IQ/OQ/PQ, and Vendor Comparison Matrix. Manage Projects; create Project Charters, RFPs, RFP Tracking, Proposals and Project Closure. Build IT projects and support CAPEX and OPEX budgets, Cost benefit analysis and Reduction strategies and techniques, Achieve business and organization goals, visions, and objectives. Following up IT best practices, Polices, and SOP Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Systems Analysis - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum: B.Sc. degree in Computer engineering or computer Science. Preferred: Cisco Certifications, CCNP-wireless is a must, CCIE-wireless is preferred
EXPERIENCE Minimum: 4 years of experience in a related position.
