About the Role: The Engagement Manager role at Eightfold is a crucial member of the Solution Delivery team and is responsible for driving project delivery and successful outcomes for our enterprise customers. Engagement Managers are project managers who orchestrate various teams and resources within Eightfold to deliver the personalized solution on time and within budget. They seek to understand our customers’ needs, their missions, how success is defined, and ensure that we are exceeding expectations in delivering solutions. As an Engagement Manager you will lead project teams consisting of business and technical consultants as well as the customer project team and potentially other vendors. You will collaborate across roles to create and execute a plan that follows best practices and achieves project goals. You will use strong leadership skills to identify and mitigate risks and issues, manage escalations and ensure the project stays within scope, schedule and cost. You will keep customer success and value at the forefront of all you do. Responsibilities : + Manage and lead the delivery and execution of multiple implementations to a project plan and communicate project progress through regular status reports to both internal and external stakeholders + Act as the leader of the assigned implementation project(s) and actively program manage to ensure on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery of assigned implementations + Work in collaboration with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and establishing business outcomes + Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams as need be (solution architects, functional consultants, product, customer success, customer support) and customer stakeholders across levels to ensure progress towards agreed goals and to effectively manage risks and mitigate issues + Be responsible for project management specific deliverables like project plan, progress report, risk & issue logs, resource / revenue forecasting etc and hold accountable other roles within the project team for their deliverables. Ensure customer sign-offs on all project deliverables + Keep alignment with the defined SOW (Statement of Work) and Contracts to ensure there is effective scope, effort and budget management and also identify opportunities to raise Change Requests to ensure there is no revenue leak or internal compliance issues + Participate in project Steering Committee meetings with leaders from both Eightfold and the customer on a need basis + Collaborate with the assigned Customer Success Manager to identify the key success factors for a successful implementation + Actively contribute to the growth of the Solution Delivery organization and company through strategic initiatives, pre-sales support, knowledge & best practice sharing, mentoring new joiners, and onboarding implementation partners Qualifications: + A bachelor's degree in business, technology or a related field + 8+ years of professional services, project management, or consulting experience + Experience in managing SaaS / PaaS / enterprise technology product implementations strongly preferred + Experience with ATS/HRIS systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors or other talent/recruitment management software platforms strongly preferred + Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization, both internally and externally + Project / Program management certifications like PMP, PRINCE2 etc preferred We are a team of self-starters who excel in their fields. The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonuses and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Zones are determined by location.
