Sr. Director of Human Resources

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department and drive the development and implementation of HR initiatives that support our mission and growth.

Position Overview:
The Senior Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, compliance, and culture. This role will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, ensuring that HR strategies align with the company’s business objectives. The Senior Director will lead a team of HR professionals and foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strengthen the HR team by recruiting and onboarding talented professionals to support long-term growth and collaboration. Foster a culture of open communication and teamwork through regular one-on-one meetings with team members. Evaluate each team member’s expertise across core HR competencies, aligning their roles and responsibilities to optimize performance and engagement. Implement personalized development plans and cross-training programs to enhance skills and support career progression. Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in Culinary Production, Transportation, and Server teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Establish open feedback channels with functional leaders to ensure HR practices effectively meet the evolving needs of the organization. Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s mission, values, and business goals. Oversee onboarding, performance management, and employee development programs to enhance employee engagement and productivity. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop succession plans and leadership development programs. Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company objectives. Lead employee relations efforts, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement. Must be bilingual in Spanish. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
