How you will make an impact?

The Senior Director Sustainability will lead the Company’s carbon reduction strategy. This involves collaborating with various teams to achieve carbon neutrality and waste reduction targets.

What you will do?Establish company-wide carbon reduction strategies, goals, and objectives, offering mentorship, support, and oversight to efforts and leading cross-functional colleagues to influence and drive carbon reduction results.Develop and implement management systems and procedures to ensure internal and counterparty compliance with Company’s standards and goals.Ensure that business units and divisions are familiar with Company’s commitments and obligations to ensure compliance with corporate standards.Design internal teams to support processes.Work in partnership with internal departments to assess suppliers, improve traceability of core materials, and implement processes and strategies for carbon reduction.Develop and maintain program budgets and schedules.Develop methodologies to assess the viability or success of initiatives. Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of carbon reduction programs.Develop external relationships with subject matter experts to increase the success of Company’s carbon reduction strategy.Assure compliance with the evolving regulatory environment regarding sustainability.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, engineering, or supply chain. Master’s or equivalent experience in business (Preferred). (C.P.M. or CPSM certification (or equivalent) preferred.)Minimum of 15 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or operations with 5 years in a leadership role.Experience leading large, multi-national teams in a complex, matrixed environment.Experience in life sciences preferred.Demonstrated change leadership experience leading complex change in global organizations.Strong process orientation.Strong project management skills and understanding of the project management lifecycle.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical skills.Strong relationship-building skills.25% travel is required.
