Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Portfolio Management. This role is responsible for the portfolio planning, financial modeling, and execution of Ontada’s technology portfolio. The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in transforming the fight against cancer and improving the lives of patients.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Technology Leader and will drive technology financial and vendor management, project management, portfolio planning, and business operations. The role also supports enterprise-wide special initiatives and builds relationships with stakeholders, especially Life Science partners (Commercial, Research, Tech Product, Engineering, and QA).

Core Responsibilities:

Translate organizational vision and strategy into actionable plansLead and direct Agile planning and execution teams to deliver project deliverables on timePartner with Finance to ensure project financial reporting and forecasting align with organizational budgetsBuild and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring delivery leadership representationFacilitate PMO negotiations across functions to resolve project conflicts and competing prioritiesInfluence executive leadership to align around portfolio business objectives and measurable benefitsReview and improve Agile and project management processes, communicating changes to senior leadershipDrive financial discipline and industry best practices for demand and capacity managementManage relationships with strategic vendors, negotiate pricing, and drive performance metrics

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience13+ years of professional experience6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills.

Critical Skills

10+ years of experience in technology, strategic planning, and business planning10+ years of experience leading a project management office7+ years of experience working in Agile Methodologies7+ years of experience as a project manager and/or program manager7+ years of experience as a people leader5+ years of experience with change management and technology executive reporting5+ years of experience with forecast/budgetingExperience in agile Product Management and Product deliveryHealthcare environment experience is a plusLife Science experience is preferredVendor management experience is beneficial.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$159,100 - $265,100
