Sr. Director, Category Management - Print Production will have responsibility for management of key strategic projects and all related Strategic Sourcing and Category Management activities for all Print Production and Logistics spend categories. Using a consultative model, the primary focus will be to provide the necessary professional and organizational direction, and support that is needed to lead, or closely coordinate activities across all business units within the company, and its subsidiaries. To carry out this mission, the Director of Print Production and Logistics will need to build strong partnerships with Business Unit and other key internal stakeholders and must be skilled in promoting the Strategic Sourcing concept.
The main objective of the Director of Print Production and Logistics is to assist Senor Director, Facilities Category Management with promoting and strengthening the value of Category Management within and outside the Strategic Sourcing Group (SSG). Within this role the Director of Print Production and Logistics, he/she will have responsibility for:
- Individually leading key strategic sourcing projects using established sourcing processes and project management tools.
- Ensuring acquisition of high-quality services at market competitive rates by negotiating and monitoring rate cards and contracts and building/leveraging relationships with third-party service providers.
- Effectively building strong working relationships with a broad range of internal clients to proactively support and promote Broadridge business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Build partnerships with key business units and successfully embed a formal, fact-based Strategic Sourcing and Category Management processes
Be highly persuasive and capable of building consensus, despite potential disagreements or complexity
Recommend alternatives to continuously gain customer buy-in and endorsement
Build strong relationships with the leaders of all Procurement organization divisions
Develop Strategic Sourcing strategy and goals to be aligned with overall Source-to-Pay and company objectives
Demonstrate strong facilitation, leadership and interpersonal abilities when working with varying staff levels
Demonstrate strong subject matter expertise, project management skills, and knowledge of industry best practices, and provide information and insight to internal customers and other business stakeholders
Support the development of a culture that attracts, rewards and promotes high quality deliverables and excellent customer service
Directly own and manage sourcing projects/initiatives across all strategic sourcing phases (pre-Sourcing, Sourcing, and post Sourcing), using varying PM tools
Develop and communicate workplans ensuring issues are addressed effectively and consensus is established for initiatives and strategies
Apply market research and requirements gathering techniques to optimize sourcing approach, foster competition and support positive negotiated outcomes
Develop and maintain high quality deliverables (e.g. RFx, Cost Analysis, Vendor Management, Evaluation Tools, Presentations, Negotiation Guides and Contractual Documents)
Assist in developing, designing, sharing and establishing Category Management and Strategic Sourcing best practices
Support internal teams in resolving interdependency and policy compliance issues
Qualifications:
7-10 plus years of Leadership experience in Sourcing and Category Management, and building best-in-class sourcing organizations with a strong customer-centric talent base
Prior Print Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain Sourcing experience
Strong experience in Procurement business process re-engineering
Prior experience in a merger integration environment is preferable
Leadership experience in negotiations strategies and oversight of Procurement programs for a wide variety of products and services
Proven ability to influence and enhance processes across business lines
Ability to build “true” partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to present business cases to drive stakeholder engagement and endorsement and process improvement
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range $165,000.000- $170.000. Bonus Eligible.
