Summary:
This project is running at a pretty fast pace and our client needs someone who is very comfortable with EMC VMAX, and Client EVA's so that they can hit the ground running. There is a tremendous amount of data that will need to be migrated so they cannot afford to have someone not know the details of the platforms. The focus on this position will be on the Storage side with EMC VMAX and replication techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Manage data storage requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot data storage issues
- Migrate data, sometimes to dissimilar SAN storage configurations
Requirements:
- UNIX (Red Hat, Solaris, and/or Tru64)
- EMC VMAX
- Client EVA
- Replication Techniques
- Data migration skills especially in dissimilar SAN storage configurations
- Data Storage troubleshooting skills to port level in the SAN Fabric
- Monitoring SAN Traffic to locate Bottlenecks & Performance issues.
