Northern Trust is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our HR Technology Capabilities Team to be part of our fast-paced, results-oriented culture as we continue our journey within Workday. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record implementing or administering Workday, with strong knowledge of Workday HCM HR module. In addition to core HR, experience in one of the following functional areas needed - Payroll , Time, Absence, Advanced Compensation or Benefits. Previous experience working with PeopleSoft and Service Now helpful.
Job Duties:
Partner with HR staff to understand their business needs and challenges, in order to elicit requirements, research and evaluate options and recommend solution optionsConduct impact analysis, estimate effort and prioritize HR technology deliverablesImplement, configure and support Workday and other HR technology solutionsDefine and test internal and external integrationsAbility to understand and manage project scopeResponsible for creating and executing test and implementation plansProvide delivery support and assistance for Workday and other HR applicationsAssist in delivery of high-quality solutions across multiple HR functional areasExperience Required:
5+ years previous HRIS experience required3+ years previous Workday consulting or implementation experience requiredBachelor’s Degree preferredPrevious PeopleSoft and Service Now experience preferredAdvanced reporting and analytics experience helpfulSkills Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly excelAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize on a daily basisExcellent communication skills needed to consult on solutionsStrong technical writing skills necessary to document and configure complex functional requirementsAdvanced analytical skills needed to problem solve and troubleshoot issuesAbility to work independently, as well as collaborate with your team and HR clientsHave a curious personality and passion to learn new technologyExcellent project management and organizational skills required to be successfulWorking with Us:
