Sr. Compliance Analyst

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sr. Compliance Analyst. The right candidate will serve as a mortgage compliance subject matter expert, individual and team level project manager, as well as a training presence. This individual will be a resource to all employees regarding interpretation and implementation of DHI Mortgage Policies and Procedures. This individual will also serve as a liaison, regarding compliance matters, to multiple levels of company leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Manage and provide oversight on compliance related projects, analyses and deliverables. Focus points include, but are not limited to, Third Party Oversight, Compliance911, Fair Lending, Information Security, and Contractual Agreement Review

•Manage the creation and facilitation of ongoing compliance related training material

•Oversee the guidance given, enterprise wide, regarding compliance matters

•Understand business processes and the associated supporting technology to recommend necessary changes

•Stay current with industry trends and maintain in-depth knowledge of all regulatory changes and requirements to update procedures

•Verify and ensure internal policies and procedures comply with federal and state level laws and regulations. Although not all inclusive, examples of such laws and regulations include Truth in Lending (TILA), TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), Fair Housing Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures (RESPA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Gramm Leach Bliley Act (Privacy Act), Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), additional state and federal regulations.

•Communicate and actively support managers, supervisors and other analysts while coordinating with team members to determine the proper course of action

•Ability to work overtime

•Ability to travel periodically

•Provide teammate mentorship and constructive feedback as needed

•Participate in internal and external legal team discussions

•Visit branch offices and establish communication

•Create loan pipeline reporting, monitor and interpret
