Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Communications Administrator Lead to provide telecommunications support and leadership for the US Mint.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities Design, configure, and deploy communication services hardware and software including Avaya phone systems, AT&T network, and cable management.Provide operations and administration of communication systems.Work with public carriers to implement new or upgraded equipment.Monitor capacity of switches, circuits, and Avaya systems.Oversee upgrades and maintenance of switches.Operate, troubleshoot, and/or install sound and video equipment, and install and operate ancillary equipment such as projectors and laptop computers.Train end users and managers on use of equipment and services. Qualifications

15+ years experience in system engineering services for communication systems, with a focus on data, voice, and video applications.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must hold the Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS) certification.  Experience in the following areas: phone equipment (PBX/Analog and VoIP, servers) services; voice network; unified messaging; directory listing services; audio and data conferencing; fax services; cable management; call center and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) services; video services; video conferencing; webcasting and streaming services; digital signage display equipment; and DirecTV.  Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.  Strong communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen.
