We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Systems Engineer with expertise in enterprise planning systems to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of the o9 platform at Crocs. As a Sr. Business Systems Engineer, you will work closely with the product team and cross-functional engineering teams to implement innovative solutions, troubleshoot complex challenges, and ensure the scalability and stability of the o9 platform. The solution delivery is through various activities, including design input, data analytics, configuration, testing, deployment, and knowledge management as well as understanding of integration with other platforms. You will take ownership of critical development tasks and mentor junior engineers.

What You'll Do Design, develop, test, and improve features within the o9 Planning Systems platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and implement tailored solutions that meet business needs. Identify areas for process, performance, and platform improvements, and take a proactive role in optimizing development processes and the overall system. Work with the data engineers, both Crocs and contract, to ensure effective functional and efficient data interfaces. Coordinate with data engineering teams across systems to source new data and establish data interfaces and identify and resolve issues with existing data interfaces. Provide advanced troubleshooting support, identifying root causes of complex technical issues and delivering effective solutions. Work with the Crocs Planning Systems product team on high priority issues and drive resolution with the system vendor’s Customer Success team. Monitor, report on, and provide support for resolution of critical system failures that require immediate attention and intervention. Establish and manage best practices and technical standards for code quality and system architecture. Lead and mentor junior engineers, guiding them on best practices, code quality, and technical design principles. Partner closely with product managers, solution architects, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality solutions. Build technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides. What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in enterprise software development with hands-on expertise with o9 Planning Systems or similar planning platforms (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, etc.). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or R. Strong experience with SQL, relational and graph databases, and data modeling for large-scale systems. Significant experience with cloud-based systems. Experience with data integrations, including using APIs to interface data, and ETL processes. Experience with Agile methodologies and development based on Agile user stories. Experience in a business-facing role with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of enterprise-level supply chain planning, financial forecasting, or demand planning principles. Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and offer innovative solutions.

Title: Sr. Business Systems Engineer 

Salary or Pay Range: $118,000 - $128,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Explorer persona.
