Emerson’s T&M Test Software team is seeking a Sr. Business Manager, Operations & Analytics, to be our trusted advisor for delivery of actionable insights that serve as a catalyst for change and growth for the company. This role will directly support the Software leadership team and analyzing financial performance, market and customer base, and product portfolio in support of T&M’s Test Software business, while interlocking with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and R&D. This individual will play a critical role in developing foundational datasets and metrics, and ensuring our data infrastructure supports robust analytical capabilities.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Serves as the trusted expert for Software Business Analytics Demonstrates a deep understanding of software business strategies, processes, operations, and the resulting data that is needed to drive improvements. Directs efforts to improve efficiency of reporting and presentations, guiding team(s) to ensure presented results are actionable, accurate, and easily understood Builds partnerships with business collaborators and team members, proactively exploring business needs and driving complex analyses to address business questions Partners with other analytics leads to create data products that are adopted to support Software Business analytics across Emerson T&M Directs teams to determine business factors and related data sources that should be used to evaluate the impact of business, product, and/or operational decisions Holds teams accountable for evaluating risks and limitations, ensuring recommendations are actionable, and clearly articulating connections between results, recommendations, and business needs Establishes and leverages working relationships across teams to ensure quality of data sources and drive towards a single-source-of-truth for all cross-functional datasets Identifies and engages collaborators from across the organization to address short- and long- term business needs, and drives engagements to address them. Interacts with business leaders to identify and define key issues, gather requirements, design and develop insight solutions, communicate findings and make recommendations Acts as an inspiring leader, proposing innovative analytical solutions to solve business challengesWho You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
BE/BTech degree in a relevant field. 8+ years of successful business operations, software product management, business development, and/or analytics and reporting experience 4+ years’ experience building and/or managing teams that build analytical reports (Power BI, Tableau)Strong communication & people skills, with experience working cross-functional teams in support of Sr. Leadership, key business forums, and division objectives Proven experience working in a dynamic environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and demonstrate ability to devise and implement project plans aligned with business objectives Proven ability guiding teams on organizing and analyzing large disparate data sets,Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
